Youth With a Mission (YWAM) Kolkata Calcutta was the very first YWAM base to be established in India, in 1982.
In 1985, YWAM India began with a broad-based agenda: To offer help, relief, and opportunities for a better life to the downtrodden and distressed sections of society. Over the years YWAM has pioneered various welfare and empowerment programs among street children, lepers, those living with HIV/AIDS, drug addicts, and the poor and needy. We seek to bring dignity, self worth and purpose to their lives. This is our way of giving back to society - by being the ones who hear the silent cry of the helpless.
Life Connection ministry is part of YWAM Kolkata Calcutta and desires to be a pioneer among street children in Howrah. We want to see Calcutta Kolkata YWAM base effective in welfare programs. This is our way to love our neighbors.
